FAQS

What sets you apart from other videographers?

My years experience as a photographer, graphic designer, as well video editor producer, I consider myself creative and unique and will utilize various software platforms to give your end product the edge from all the rest. When I shoot, I like my work to either tell a story, or take the most overlooked images and compel the viewer to dig inside the depths of their minds and unlock their imaginations like never before through the sense of sight and sound.

Do you require a deposit?

* Yes, I require a 20% Deposit in order to hold your time and date of your shoot.  It is non-refundable  if notice of cancellation or rescheduling has not been made within 48 hours of your scheduled shoot and deducted from your final bill. You are welcome to pay the total cost for your event or shoot upfront if you would like.

Can we write up a contract?

Yes, you are able to view and download the contract in PDF format.

Can we request additional copies?

Yes. You can purchase individual prints or purchase a package which includes a set of prints according to the sizes of your desire. I currently offer 2 packages: Standard and Gold package, which can be accessed from the 'Rates' Link page. Additional DVD copies are $15.00.

How long does it take to get my Photos/DVD?

Estimated time of completion is between 2-4 weeks, depending on complexity for video production and 5-7 business days for photo editing.

Where do you set up your cameras?

Every event is different.  As soon as I arrive at the location I will look over the possible angles.   I usually set up my stationary camera on the front right side.  That allows me to shoot with my manned camera at the back.  I will become mobile if necessary to capture a certain angle.  During the photo shoot or recording event, I only shoot with one camera.

What if I have to cancel or reschedule?

I require at least a 48 hour notice if you decide to reschedule or cancel for any reason.

What is a Data Disc?

A Data Disc contains the same finished videos on the DVD but in High Definition.  It can only be played on a computer.  We recommend clients save these files on their computer.  This provides them with back up files as well as media that they can upload to Facebook, Youtube, etc...

Do you use lights on your camera?

Yes, I use an on-board camera light to help with my shots during the night or low lit events.

Do you charge for travel?

Any travel outside a 100 miles from my studio location, I charge .50 cents per mile.  For example; If you stayed 132 miles out, an additional $132.00 would be charged to the overall fee. *(This total is derived from both directions - to and from)
